Educational Assessment

Cognitive and Educational assessment assists teachers and parents to make informed decisions about young person’s learning needs within the classroom.

An educational assessment firstly involves a cognitive assessment. This will pinpoint any learning difficulties such as processing speed, auditory processing, verbal learning issues or non verbal learning issues.

The next stage of the process is an achievement test. This will assess reading, writing, spelling, mathematics and oral language.

Full Educational Assessment Includes:

  • WISC-IV – Australian – Ages: 6 to 16 years 11 months.

OR

  • WPPSI-III -Australian – Ages: 2 years 6 months to 7 years 3 months.

AND

  • WIAT-II (Australian) – Ages: 4 years to 85 years.

Assessment time required: 1 hour to 1.5 hours x 2 sessions

Cost: $950.00

Includes:

  • Assessment (two sessions)
  • Report with recommendations
  • Feedback session with Parents (20-30minutes)
